Karen, a church member, brought in this vivid illustration. We are familiar with the pharse, "bloom where you are planted", but how about "bloom, even if you are never planted" This flower bulb, cast aside, left in an old onion bag, never was put in fertile ground. Never planted, and yet it persisted and bloomed... against all odds. It is a picture for us to consider. No matter where we are in life. Even if the grass looks greener on the other side, we can still bloom.
True refreshment while visiting the Central Oregon Coast can be found at the Gleneden Beach Christian Church conveniently located between Depoe Bay and Lincoln City. Let us minister to you while vacationing or residing here as we center on Christ and teach God's Word as a body of believers.
Welcome to GBCC
You're invited to share with us as we humbly seek to follow Him. "Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men. Let them exalt him in the assembly of the people and praise him" Ps. 107:31-32
Faith, hope and love expressed in worship, service and Christian living are the only answers to the problems and needs of the world, and are a true expression of the Church of the Living Christ. Our desire is to exalt our God and King through prayer, praise and worship, and that your faith will be increased, your love enhanced and your courage strengthened.

Grow Where Planted
